Contractor shall provide maintenance and repair service for anesthesia
machines at the DVA Medical Center, Salem, Virginia. Maintenance
service shall be provided quarterly and shall include complete
inspection and testing of the equipment; identification and extent of
any problems and restoration of the equipment to satisfactory service
by repairing or replacing defective parts or components. A minimum of
two (2) hours of preventive maintenance shall be performed on each
piece of equipment each quarter. Contractor shall provide a telephone
contact to which service requests shall be placed. If on-site service
is deemed necessary to remedy the equipment malfunction, the
Contractor's service representative shall arrive on-site within
twenty-four (24) hours of the initial telephone notification by the VA.
Contract shall be for one base year with two, one-year renewal options.
