This solicitation invites proposals for the construction of a postal-owned Main Post Office located at 801 E. Bankhead Street, New Albany, MS containing approximately 18,370 sq. ft. of floor space. Work includes, but is not limited to steel frame construction, concrete, masonry, carpentry, modified bitumen roofing, insulation, hollow metal doors, metal studs, gyp board, ceramic tile, resilient flooring, vinyl composition tile flooring, carpet, painting, store fixtures, landscaping, electrical, mechanical, utilities and other work associated with postal facilities. The minority-owned business subcontracting goal for this contract is a minimum of ten percent (10%). A TWENTY PERCENT (20%) PROPOSAL BOND IS REQUIRED WITH EACH PROPOSAL. PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BONDS WILL BE REQUIRED FROM THE SUCCESSFUL OFFEROR. The estimated cost of this project is between $1,800,000 and $2,100,000 with completion within 270 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed.
