The US Army Intelligence Center & Fort Huachuca announces a conference to examine issues that affect producing and sustaining intelligence analysis skills. Topics to be discussed include: a relevant discussion of the skills needed by the future military intelligence analyst; how the human mind deals with information and how to structure information to maximize its value and avoid "saturation"; a tool to more effectively identify potential analysts in the recruitment process; and how to best train and sustain future analysts. The conference is tentativily scheduled for 2-3 April 1998 at Fort Huachuca, Arizona. Attendance will be at no cost to the government and participation shall not be construed to result in any implied or actual contractual commitment on the part of the Army or the U.S. Army Intelligence Center.
