The work of the contract consists of applying traffic markings, shoulder and centerline striping to approximately 840,000 lineal feet of existing roadway in Yosemite National park, Mariposa County, California. Also consists of applying traffic markings; stop bars, stop, stop ahead, arrows, crosswalks, ped-xing, yield, only, handicap, fire lane, no parking, speed bumps, parking lot lines, and bicycle paths. All work will be performed under a single contract during periods of low traffic. Temperature will also be a factor in deciding where work will occur on a given day.
