The dust collector and fan assembly shall be picked up by the lugs/lifting eyes that are being provided in the contract. B. a "common" base is not required for the dust collector and fan assembly. However, if the DC is provided in multiple sections, each section must have its own frame to support it off the ground along with their own lugs/lifting eyes, nameplate, weight certification, etc. C. A spark resistance fan is requested in case the filter element/housing internals fails during operation, nothing is to prevent the steel grit from hitting the fan, thereby, causing a spark. D. See 2A BELOW. E. Yes, only the filtering housing is requested to be of at least 7 gage ASTM hot rolled steel. This does not include any internal/external structural housing framework/supports. F.
