Herting Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) has a requirement for network technical support services related to the acquisition, intallation, implementation maintenance, and diagnostic support of PBGC's Enterprise LAN and WAN environment, including associated hardware and software. Network technical support services includes ongoing technical support for activities related to ensuring the availability, operability, and reliability of production systems that comprise the PBGC Enterprise LAN and WAN, and computer engineering network services for activities related to the acquisition, design, implementation, and diagnostic support of PBGC's Enterprise LAN and WAN environment. This solicitation specifically excludes any technical support provided directly to the end-user community on a daily basis. The period of performance for the base year shall be date of award through September 30, 1998, with four one-year options for renewal.
