All necessary supplies, parts, materials, support equipment, dedicated telephone lines and labor required to received electronically, dictated medical reports, transcribe them into the proper format and transmit them to the VA VISTA computer system within the required time frames. Contractor will provide/pay for all communications lines and provide at this facility a prsonal computer, plain paper fax machine, instructions and training for the performance of this contract. Resulting contract will be for one yearm, with four one-year options to renew. Approximately 600,000 lines per year. This solicitation is a total 100% small business set-aside. Those contractors wishing to be considered for this solicitation must provide in brief, the following information to this office by 4:30 pm est., Mach 11, 1998. 1. YOUR ABILITY TO RECEIVE FROM THIS FACILITY DICATED REPORTS AND TO TRANSMIT TO THIS FACILITY VIA ELECTRONIC MEANS, TRANSCRIBED REPORTS IN THE PROPER FORMAT, INDICATING THE EQUIPMENT/METHOD TO BE USED FOR THIS PURPOSE. 2. A LISTING OF YOUR PAST PERFORMANCE DURING THE PREVIOUS 2 YEARS INDICATING YOUR EXPERIENCE CONNECTING/COMMUNIATING WITH GOVERNMENT COMPUTER SYSTEMS AND YOUR EXPERIENCE PROVIDING MEDICAL TRANSCRIPTION SERVICES FOR HOSPITALS AND CLINICS SIMILAR TO THE DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS MEDICAL CENTERS. The responses to this notice will be used to determine those firms that are within the competive range for this solicitation. Subsequent oral presentations may be required during the evaluation phase of this solicitation. Technical ability and past performance history will be the major elements evaluated, but total price/cost of the offer will be included in the evaluation before contract award. (0051)
