INDUSTRY BRIEFING FOR COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY STUDY OF PROPULSION, WARHEAD, AND ENVIRONMENTAL TEST FACILITIES, MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION SERVICES The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWPNS), China Lake, California is seeking interested Industry representatives to participate in an Industry Forum scheduled for March 10, 1998 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Conference Center, Sierra Room, Bldg. 00874, King Ave., China Lake, CA. A request to attend the Industry Forum must be submitted by March 5, 1998, 1500 by FAX to Marge Schafer, Code 220000D, (760) 939-8186 and must include Your Name, Your Company Name and Address, and Your Phone Number. NOTE: The capacity of the Conference Center is limited, therefore we are restricting companies to send only two representatives per company. NAWCWPNS will be providing a draft Performance Based Work Statement (PWS) to industry, seeking comments and questions for possible outsourcing of Propulsion, Warhead and Environmental Test Facilities, Maintenance and Operation Services under the Commercial Activities OMB Circular A-76. The requirement is to provide all management, administration, supervision, labor, materials, supplies, and tools to provide for the operation, maintenance, improvement, modifications and management of test and evaluation systems, associated test and evaluation support systems and subsystems, equipment and test sites and shall perform all tasks as related to the Ordnance Operations Division. Requirement will provide the capability for conducting propulsion, warhead, environmental, safety, non-destructive, plume measurement, aeroheat and gun projectile ordnance test operations in support of the Ordnance Research, Development and Test and Evaluation community. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 8734 and the small business size standard is $5 million average annual receipts over a three year period. In the event the function is contracted out, the successful offeror must possess the ability to obtain a TOP SECRET clearance. The Forum is currently scheduled to provide several briefings.
