This synopsis is prepared in accordance with FAR 13. Solicitation number N00244-98-Q-0138 applies and will be issued as a formal/written Request For Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-03 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-12. The standard industrial code is 3728 and the business size standard is 1,000 employees. This requirement is for a fixed priced contract for three (3) line items as follows. Line Item 0001: Cap, part number 1283523-109, quantity ten (10) each. Line Item 0002: Hinge, part number A51B52502-14, quantity six (6) each. Line Item 0003: Outboard fitting, part number A51B52503-12, quantity six (6) each. Delivery of all items is required 60 days (negotiable) after award of contract to be delivered FOB Destination to: Receiving Officer, Naval Aviation Depot, Code 160D, Bldg 94, NAS North Island, San Diego, CA 92135 Mark for: (will advise). Government source inspection will be required. Any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation will be a DO-rated order certified for national defense use under the Defense Priorities and Allocations System. The government may make multiple awards as a result of this solicitation.
