The NAWCAD Materials Division at Patuxent River, MD intends to procure an environmental chamber to perform testing of materials. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate the proposed requirement on a SOLE SOURCE BASIS with Centorr Vacuum Industries, 55 Northeastern Blvd., Nashua, NH. The chamber is one of four sub-systems under the High Vacuum-High Temperature Test System (HVHT). Solicitation number N00421-98-Q-1064 is hereby issued at a Request For Quote (RFQ). This new requirement will be using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Purchase Order to be delivered to the NAWCAD Becker Laboratory at Patuxent River, MD. Centorr is the only manufacturer capable of providing a physically and electronically compatible chamber to fit existing test equipment. (0054)
