F -- FIRE CREW SOL RFP R5-14-98-19 POC Contact Nancy Ruffner, 530 246-5220, Contracting Officer, Kathy Reno USDA, Forest Service, Shasta-Trinity National Forest is issuing a negotiated indefinite delivery/definite quantity contract for wildland firefighting crews on National Forest land on the Shasta-Trinity, Tehama, Trinity, Shasta, and Siskiyou Counties, California. Formation of this contract does not preclude the Government from utilizing any Agency or cooperator-owned resources first. Qualified crews will be considered ICS Type II crews. Crews and/or engine modules may be used for presuppression, initial attack, suppression, fire rehabilitationand all phases or prescribed burning. One base year plus two option years are available. A minimum of $5,000 is guaranteed in the base year plus any option years exercised. Expected start work date is May 1, 1998.
