Part I: A Government Program Office (ESC/AC) and representatives from its customer and support base are requesting interested sources who provide facilitation support and services for problem solving. SCENARIO: The program director or team leader recognizes a team problem in a functioning intact team. This team may need a day or two working with an accomplished facilitator to improve the teaming function and help the team to become more productive. This may or may not involve participants from geographically separated units. Each session may involve as many as 20 people. Specific objectives for the training should be flexible and open to preliminary discussion with the person tasking the team building event. It is conceivable that specific "real world" objectives will be part of this program. The following conditions and limitations apply: 1. The service provider shall be expected to offer and execute a program within one week of being notified by the government coordinator. 2. The service provider shall provide a balance of discussion time and activities paralleling the issues defined by the program office coordinator. 3. The service provider shall assist the team in making necessary process improvements and develop a measurement system to show the tasking originator that desired functions are improving. 4. The service provider facility shall be within approximately one hour driving time from Hanscom AFB, Bedford MA 5. The service provider shall offer a diverse program that approximates equality in intellectual and physical challenges posed. 6. The service provider shall provide a sample one and two day program based on a team with communications problems due to geographical separation and a team comprised of members with separate agendas. Interested sources are encouraged to provide sufficient documentation which describes their programs, including available pricing information. However, response to this notice does not imply that a Government contract shall be enacted, nor is there any obligation on thepart of the Government to issue such a contract. (0054)
