Aviation Operations, is seeking quotes on a Long Range Surveillance
System with the following specifications: 1) The vendor shall supply a
long range high performance Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS)
multi-sensor camera system for covert surveillance operations onboard
a Cessna 208 Caravan aircraft. 2)The system shall contain a high
magnification INFRARED and Day TV sensor payload to facilitate long
stand off, non observable, suspect observation. The system, will be
able to view targets of interest during periods from total light to
total darkness, including periods of limited visibility such as light
rain, or light fog. The system shall be housed in a gyro-stabilized
turret that is easily mountable to the helicopter. The power
consumption shall be 28VDC standard aircraft power. 3)All equipment
shall be newly manufactured goods. 4)The system shall incorporate an
autotracker, and an integrated moving map display. 5)The successful
vendor shall deliver the total system as ordered, within9 months of
receipt of order. 6)Detailed Specifications: 6.1 Camera System Turret
