Disposal of Government owned street, off road, and oversized tires. Contractor to provide continuous (M-F) carry-in service for all types of tires. Government agencies to deliver tires to the contractor via the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO) on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. The Government estimate for tire turn-in is: FY98: 23,078, FY99: 45,222. The contract performance is for the period of 01 Apr 1998 through 30 Sept 1998 with one (1) 12 month option period. Contractor must meet all applicable regulations and laws pertaining to the disposal of tires. The Government intends to include the option clause FAR 52.217-9 in the solicitation.
