Repair Contract. On or about 17 March 1998 this office will issue
Request for Proposals for up to two Indefinite Delivery Type
Hydroelectric Generator Contract(s). The contracts will be issued under
a Multiple Award Concept which allow award up to two contracts with a
cumulative total amount of the contracts not exceeding $20 million
dollars. There will be no limit on the amount or number of the Task
Orders that can be issued against the contracts, other than the
cumulative total of the contracts awarded. Each contract issued will
have a basic performance period of two years with a single option
period of three years duration. Proposals will be received on or about
10 April 1998. This solicitation is unrestricted and open to both
large and small business participation. The performance of Work
Statement for the contracts may include, but not be limited to:
long-term maintenance, repair and rehabilitation of generators at any
or all of the Project Offices located within the boundaries of the U.S.
Army Corps of Engineers Northwestern Division. Work sites would be
primarily located in the States of Washington, Oregon, Montana, North
and South Dakota, Nebraska and Missouri. The performance of the
contractor on each order will be judged using pre-established guidlines
issued for each site specific order as a prerequisite of recieving a
subsequent order. The proposals documents will be available on Compact
Disk (CD-ROM) and will be provided free of charge . Limit one per
firm. Proposal documents will not be provided in a printed format.
