The Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration (DOL/ETA) is soliciting proposals to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of Wagner-Peyser Act Labor Exchanges and their role in State workforce development systems fostered by DOL's One-Stop concept and system-building efforts. Included in the evaluation will be an analysis of traditional Wagner-Peyser Act mediated labor exchange services, an examination of electronic labor exchange services accessed through by DOL's America's Labor Market Information System, and an evaluation of private placement services vis-a-visa public labor exchange services. The period of performance will be twelve (12) months from the date of contract execution plus two 1-year options at the Government's discretion. This requirement is let under full and open competition. Request for Proposals will be available on the Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration's Internet Home Page at HTTP://WWW.DOLETA.GOV, approximately 15 days from the date of publication. For requests made after the supply is exhausted, the Contracting Officer may determine whether payment of a fee is warranted. The fee will not exceed the actual cost of duplication of the solicitation document. Closing date for receipt of proposals will be April 17, 1998 at 2:00 P.M. local time.
