ENVIRONMENTAL SECURITY PARTNERSHIP INITIATIVE -- MODELING & SIMULATION Pursuant to Title III, Section 349 of the 1998 Defense Authorization Act, the Department of Defense (DoD) is exploring the feasibility of forming partnerships with interested private businesses and industry groups, for the purpose of expanding the use of innovative modeling & simulation techniques to improve environmental remediation (cleanup) management and decision making. To facilitate this initiative, the Office of the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Environmental Security) will sponsor a one day Industry Forum on March 26, 1998, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.. The meeting will be held in the conference center of Booz Allen & Hamilton, 8283 Greensboro Drive, McLean, Virginia (call Kimberly Ferlick at 703-902-5887 for directions). The purpose of the Industry Forum is to discuss the objectives, goals and future activities of the Investment Partnership Initiative, and to respond to industry questions and comments.
