43 -- PUMPS, SUBMERSIBLE SEWAGE PUMPS FOR THE EAGEL BEND PUMP STATION IN DEVILS LAKE, ND SOL DACW37-98-Q-0032 DUE 041598 POC Contract Specialist Bruce Stephenson (612) 290-5418 (Site Code DACW37) The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1 will negotiate with Quality Flow Systems, Inc. of Eden Prairie, MN to procure 3 (three) each submersible sewage pumps with 20" discharge for installation by others at the Eagle Bend Pump Station, Devils Lake, ND. The pumps shall be KSB Model KRTK 500-540 capable of delivering 16,200 g.p.m. at a total head of 17.5 feet total capacity. The manufacturer and model are required in order to be fully compatible and interchangeable with existing pumps furnished under a construction contract for the Creel Bay Pump Station, Devils Lake, ND. The local interests will thereby have a lower spare parts inventory requirement, better pump interchange capability and lower overall annual operating costs. Other pumps requiring modification to discharge connections electrical systems or control will not be acceptable. The pumps shall Be furnished complete with 3 access hatches, accessories and any required special toolsor spare parts. The pumps will be delivered to the City of Devils Lake maintenance facility at Devils Lake, ND not later than 160 dater contract award. Installation and start-up are expected 30 to 60 days thereafter. A standard manufacturer's 5 to 7 year warranty for municipal service based on operating hours or years after installation is a requirement.
