S -- -INTENT TO NEGOTIAGE SOLE-SOURCE CONTRACT WITH ALDEN ELECRTONICS. Notice to intent to negotiate a sole-source contract with Alden Electronics. Purpose of contract is to provide international flight folder facsimile service for the San Francisco and Portland International Airports. Period of proposed contract is 3/1/98 -- 9/30/98. Alden currently has all necessary equipment, supplies, and personnel to provide the required service. No other source can provide service immediately without a break in service. Service will be provided on an interim basis only until a new National Flight Folder Contract is awarded. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000.
