SALE OF UNUSED SURPLUS AIR MONITOR Sale of one each isokinetic air sampling and flow monitoring system at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton WA. This equipment, manufactured by Air Monitor Corporation of Santa Rosa CA, is used to determine compliance with radionuclide emission standards. The system monitors the air exhausted from a building used for radiological work. It consists of air velocity sensing probes, isokinetic sampling nozzles and collection manifolds, sample controller, automatic control valves, vacuum pumps, instruments, displays and alarms necessary to withdraw, under isokinetic flow conditions, a highly representative sample of air from a building exhaust stack for analysis by radiation monitoring equipment. The equipment was delivered in 1996 and has not been used. The system consists of two component units: one each at 88 cubic feet (660 pounds) and one each at 116 cubic feet (1025 pounds).
