Offerors are advised that for CLIN 0001AF Pillow, Bed, (and corresponding CLINs in the option years) the Government uses polyester pillows. Occasionally, laundering of pillows of other construction may be required; however, virtually all of the pillows under these CLINs are polyester. That part of the solicitation which reads "Delivery of items is required within three (3) days of pickup" is changed to read "Delivery of items is required to be completed by Close of Business (COB) of the second day after the pickup day (except for pillows, which are required to be returned dry by COB of the third day after the pickup day). Delivery includes transport to the designated facility and placement (loading/stacking) in the designated storage area or closet." As an example, if items are picked up on Monday, the returned cleaned and laundered items are required to be fully in place in the designated storage area by COB (4:30 pm) Wednesday.
