each -- Ultra Violet Laser Wire Marking Machine. The unit must produce
a mark resistant to abrasion, hydraulic fluids, aviation fuels, light,
and high temperatures. The machine must produce a UV laser mark on
non-stick insulations such as Teflon, Tefzel, and FEP. It shall be a
fully self contained unit able to process wire from wire wound spools
into coiling pan as wire cut segments. It shall be capable of handling
single or multiconductor wire from 26 AWG to 1/4" in diameter and
wires from 6" long to 330 ft long. It shall be able to process wire at
a minimum speed of 22 ft/min marking at 3 mm intercharacter pitch. It
shall at a minimum operate with an unpowered de-reeler and the output
will be to a coiling pan. The marking system shall operate in sequence
with an electrical wire cutter. The unit shall be able to print a
minimum of 1 to a maximum of 50 characters per mark. It shall be
capable of using the full alphanumeric character set. The operator
shall be able to control the identification mark, font size and
orientation, character pitch, spacing between marks, batch quantity,
and wire length. Data input and activiation shall be from keyboard,
floppy disk, or system hard disk. The unit shall be fully enclosed
Class 2 laser requiring no gases, no chilling, and no venting, while
providing high reliability. It shall req. 208/110 volt supply. Mfr:
