JUST IN TIME VENDOR DELIVERY OF PAINT AND PAINT SUPPLIES FISC San Diego intends to obtain just in time vendor direct delivery of paint and paint supplies, including, but not limited to: paint, latex; paint, oil; paint, primer, latex; paint, primer, oil; paint, aerosol; paint, thinners, solvent; paint, stain; paint, tints; paint, sealers; paint, epoxy; paint, laquer, shellac; paint accessories (brushes, roller covers, roller frames, trays, grids, pads); and paint, compound (cement, plaster, caulking, sealant, joint compound) for the Navy Public Works Center, San Diego. The statement of work will contain a requirement for the contractor to accept back all open portions of paint at no cost to the Government. Contractor will be responsible for establishing pick-up points for disposal at Naval Station, San Diego, Naval Air Station, North Island, Marine Corps Air Station, Miramar; Naval Research and Development Center, (NRAD), Point Loma; and Naval Training Center, San Diego. Pick-up will be done at leastmonthly from each location. Contractor must meet San Diego County APCD requirements. The intent of this program is to capture the best commercial business practices through an ordering agreement with a paint vendor focusing on proactive paint and paint supplies management program(s) to continually drive down costs and improve service levels for our Navy customers.
