The U.S. Army War Reserve Support Command (AWRSPTCMD) anticipates negotiations with the Mitretek Systems, Incorporated, McLean, VA on a sole source basis. The AWRSPTCMD requires wide-ranging types of analyses in support of the mission. The effort will include technical support as follows: (a) Development of analytical tools for cost/technical/schedule tradeoffs. (b) Acquisition planning and acquisition support. (c) Validation of risk analysis. (d) Analyses of technical issues influencing overall acquisition strategy planning. (e) Analyses as required to identify critical risk items, including identification of concepts or, (f) Strategies which can reduce known risks, and independent technical assessment of specific tasks to ensure timely and economical accomplishment of program objectives (g) Development of data handling information systems; and (h) Technical support to source selection evaluation boards. It is imperative that the performance of this effort not be jeopardized by either potential business opportunities, or business arrangements which have been, or may be, entered into by the contractor with facility designers, equipment manufactures, facility operators, or any other contractors. If any responsible source other than the Mitretek Systems Corporation can fulfill the above requirements and wishes to submit a proposal, it will be considered. See Note 22. (0057)
