Komer 216-902-6216 Provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision required to perform CE inspections at various Ninth Coast Guard District sites. All sites are located within the region of the Great Lakes. Work will include pre-inspection coordination, traveling tothe unit, conducting the inspection and writing an inspection report. Amend the notice to include: No solicitation will be mailed. All interested parties shall submit an SF-254 and SF-255 marked "DTCG83-98-Q-3WF200/Pam". Firms will be selected based on the following weighted criteria; a) Firms experience in Inspecting Shore Facilities -- includes Industrial Buildings, Small Offices, Waterfront Facilities and Boat Houses. (25%); b) Qualifications of Project Manager -- demonstrate internal control and quality assurance procedures used to ensure technical accuracy and the coordination of disciplines and work (20%); c) Qualifications of Inspector(s)- has demonstrated past performance in conducting Inspections as noted in item (a) within specific time frames (20%); d) Past Experience and familiarity with the U.S. Coast Guard and ability to complete projects in a timely manner (20%); e) Past Performance on similar type projects in size and scope -- under $100K (10%); and f) Proximity of firm to the Great Lakes Region (5%). Only those firms which meet the USCG's requirements as outlined above will be given consideration. In order to be considered, the required forms shall be received by 1:30 EDT, 20 March 1998.
