The Defense National Stockpile Center will solicit bids for masonry and other miscellaneous repairs at its Scotia, NY Depot. The repairs include: The demolition and installation of approximately 325 concrete masonry units and 35 stoops; the refacing of existing masonry; the removal and replacement of 80 personnel doors, 435 windows, and 10 overhead doors; the removal and repainting of all loose paint and the painting of the newly-installed concrete; and the replacement or encapsulation (behind new steel siding) of all asbestos board. The repairs will be performed on six warehouse buildings with an approximate square footage of 142,020 sq. ft. 2. The Scotia, NY Depot is located at Route 5, Scotia, NY 12302. 3. Completion of the project is required within 120 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. 4. The estimated dollar range for this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00 5.
