The Government intends to issue an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity, Firm Fixed Price Type contract with five consecutive ordering periods. The minimum quantity is 208 each and the maximum quantity is 640 each. Delivery will be FOB Origin to Texarkana, TX. Required delivery with First Article Testing is 100 each, 540 DACA and 108 each per month thereafter, First Article Test report is due 348 DACA. Required delivery without First Article Test is 100 each, 360 DACA and 108 each month thereafter until completion. This procurement requires prequalification. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Justification for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1. Only one source or only a limited number of responsible sources. Approved source is Allied Signal Incorporated, Allied Signal Engines, 111 South 34th Street, P. O. Box 52181, Phoenix, AZ 85072-2181. This item is a flight safety part that requires Engineering Testing. The time required for approval of new supplies is such that award and delivery cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.
