59 -- CASSETTE RECORDER SOL RFP 7158 DUE 031998 POC Luwanna Greene, (202) 324-3319 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation of this requirement, proposals are being requested and a solicitation package will not be issued. This is Request for Proposal Number 7158. This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation Circular 97-3. This solicitation is 100% Small Business Set Aside. The Standard Industrial Classification code is 3651. The Small Business Size Standard is 750 employees. The Federal Bureau of Investigation requests proposals for a single award, Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite Quantity commercial item contract. The contract is for an award year with four one-year options. The minimum quantity of supplies is 300 Units of Marantz Recorder PMD-221 (Mono) and 200 Units of Marantz Recorder PMD-430 (Stereo). The maximum dollar amount over the life of the contract is $500,000.
