Mandell, (425)304-5808 J- Work package consists of the following: Replace Engine/Transmission/Lowe Propulsion Unit using GFM, rebuild (2) Hydraulic Winches & Motors, replace U-Jiontw in Drive Shaft, Replace morse Control Cables on Winches/Throttles & Shifter, overhaul Steering Motor Brake Assembly, overhaul Winch Control Spool Valve, overhaul/replace and adjust Steering Control valve, replace Roll Cage, install new Safety glass in pilot house, reinstall rubber fenders using flat bar & channel, blast/paint Hull, non-skid deck, paint pilot house, rebuild/replace rudder angle indicator drive assembly, install new propellor, replace zincs, remove existing angle fenders from ull, replace winch roller sheaves, clean/preserve (2) fuel tanks, replace pilot house insulation, overhaul winch hydraw3lic pump/solenoid actuated power take off and replace lifting pads/label plates. Avail dates 29 May 98 through 26 June 98. Work will be performed in contractors facility. All west coast sources who currently hold or are qualifiedfor and willing to enter into an Agreement for Boat Repair (DFAR 217.71) prior to award, may submit a bid which shall be considerd by this agency. Fims which do not possess a Master Ship Agreement/Agreement for Boat Repair as applicable) are ineligible for award unless adequate time exists to permit the Navy to perform an assessment of their MSRA/ABR without impacting the vessel's availability dates.
