The AMC Contracting Flight anticipates issuance of a draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) in the mid-March 1998 timeframe to interested parties for review and comment. The draft requirements are in support of the A-76 cost comparison study for the Base Supply and Aircraft Maintenance functions at Andrews AFB MD. At a minimum, the support shall include all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform aircraft maintenance and/or base supply functions. A presolicitation conference and site visit for prospective offerors is anticipated to be held at Andrews AFB MD on 7 -- 8 April 1998. In addition, the Government will be available to conduct conferences with individual contractors to discuss the draft PWS or any other issues on 9 -- 10 April 1998. Please note that these conferences will be limited to no more than one hour each. In addition, depending on available facilities and responses received, number of attendees per company may be limited. All offerors providing comments must provide their Company name, business size (i.e., large, small, or small disadvantaged), point of contact, address (including ZIP PLUS FOUR), telephone number, fax number and E-mail address. In addition, offerors are requested to indicate their desire to attend the presolicitation conference and/or a one on one conference along with the number of attendees requested. Verbal requests may not be acted upon. The Contracting Flight will provide specific information regarding the conferences in the near future to all respondents. Comments regarding the draft PWS document will be accepted through 1 Apr 98.
