The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed price Indefinite Delivery type contract for laundry and dry cleaning services. The period of performance is a base year with three one-year options. The contractor will pick-up, launder, sort and deliver approximately 3,750 pounds of linen per week (the estimate includes a small amount of dry-cleaning). Services under the contract shall be accomplished in accordance with applicable standards. Procedures for collecting, transporting, processing and storing linens will be in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines, and existing State, Federal Regulations and Joint Commission for Accreditation of Hospitals (JCAH) regulations.
