SOL DAKF11-98-B-0006 DUE 032398 POC Contract Specialist CPT KELLY SHERE 404 464 4183 (Site Code DAKF11) The work consists of the contractor furnishing all labor, material, and equipment necessary to install one 1600 ft.(approximately) site and sound barrier in strict accordance with the specifications within the time allotted for the contractor performance. The barrier will be located behind Staff Row on Ft.McPherson, GA, starting from Quarters #1 and ending at the Campbellton Road gate. Main columns shall be W8 x 10 I-beam, set plumb and embedded in 3000 PSI concrete, the top of which shall be crowned 6" above ground level. Panels shall be Galvalume model #R, or an approved equal, 26 gauge, 1-1/4 inch raised rib, 12 inches oc, x 10 ft. high. The barrier shall be a minimum of 10 ft. and a maximum of 12 ft. from the existing chain link fence. The barrier behind Building #22 parking lot, north side, shall be no more than 4 ft. The barrier line may be angled to offset for trees. Work area shall be barricaded with barrels and/or caution tape. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000.
