The work includes bringing the structure and all systems up to current building codes. The restoration includes modification of structures to meet seismic zone 4 building codes, refurbishment or replacement of all utility systems, refurbishments and or replacement of fire systems, installation of new energy conservation systems; an addition of a 7.6m (25') annex and extension of the mezzanine. The order of magnitude for the procurement is $2.5 -- $5 million and the effort shall be completed within 270 calendar days after notice to proceed. The SIC Code and small business size standard for this procurement are 1542 and $17.0 million, respectively. The anticipated release date of the IFB/RFO is on or about February 27, 1998 with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about March 30, 1998.
