This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F41691-98-Q0340 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 90-43. This requirement is set-aside 100% for small business. The SIC code is 7372, Prepackaged Software, size standard $18M. Requirement consists of the following: Easy Writer CD-R (Smart & Friendly PN SAF780)(Qty 28), SourceView Author (Qty 14) and Adobe Acrobat 3.01 Writer (Qty 17). Items are to be delivered to 14 separate CONUS locations. The Source View Program is the only available software that provides the required functions as researched by the Armed Service Tri-Source CADD-GIS Technology at Corps of Engineers Waterways Experimental Station. This program conforms to the format established for the Armed Services EBS system. If quoting "or equal" please submit specification with your quote. Interested parties capable of providing the above, must submit written price and technical quotes, and provide firm evidence of their ability to perform. All responses will be fully considered. Award will be made under simplified acquisition procedures, evaluation procedures IAW FAR 13.106-2 will be used. Offers must include catalog price lists, delivery schedules and a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications Commercial Items.
