Pileggi 301-619-4070 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR sub part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT be issued. Solicitation number VA-797-98-F2Q-0010 is issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 90-46. The SIC code is 7372 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The contractor shall provide the following: 1 each M-Talk Interactive Telephony System by AudioCare Systems, supporting 8 telephone lines, #CHCS-S08; 2 each of 4-line Rotary Telephone Interface, #ROTARY; 1 each Pharmacy Medication Education, #CHCS-RxINFO; 1 each Prescription Inquiry and Refill, #CHCS-REFILL; 1 each Off-Line processing when CHCS is unavailable, #CHCS-OFFLINE; 1 each Custom Pharmacy Telephony Menu, #CHCS-MENU; Microlog replacement. This system is fully configured DEC Pentium PC running Microsoft NT, including all related hardware and software; MSM multi-user license; includes M-Talk Interactive Telephony software license and related telephony hardware; complete system documentation; shipping, installation and testing, and on-site training included. One year maintenance from date of installation, including: On-site, next-business-day hardware maintenance, software support, software updates, and enhancements, regular updates to Medication Consultation text. Place of delivery shall be at Maxwell Air Force, Alabama. Delivery shall occur within 30 calendar days of contract award.
