Notice is hereby given of the intent to award, on a sole source basis, a fixed price purchase order to Project Performance Corporation of Germantown Maryland to perform a benchmarking assessment of the U. S. Department of Energy's Savannah River site spent nuclear fuel operations. Scope of work is to develop methods to compare operations at Savannah River to operations at other DOE and private sector sites, designing data collection instruments to capture process and cost information at the sites, collecting, compiling, and analyzing the data, and writing a report. Project Performance Corporation has unique capability to perform this work. Estimated price of work is approximately $50,000. This is a simplified acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 13. Sources believing they have the capability to peform this work may submit a capability statement to the contracting officer no later than 15 calendar days from the data of publication of this announcement.
