The Department of the Navy, Naval Air Systems Command, intends to issue a sole source contract with Science Applications International Corporation for the procurement of technical and engineering services for the development of advanced systems analysis technology in support of the Naval Air Warfare Center's Air Vehicle Programs, Flight Test and Manned Flight Simulators. This support is required to maintain current systems analysis technology; and develop future systems analysis technology for application to RDT&E Air Vehicle and flight test programs associated with aircraft controllability, advance technology aircraft flight/engine control systems, flight control computer in-the-loop-simulation testing, system identification, aerodynamic analysis including wind tunnel tests, weapons system accuracy, and involves development of the associated flight test instrumentation requirements, test program structure, test techniques, data management, analysis procedures, and system simulation.
