The New York District intends to add additional work to an existing contract no. DACA33-92-C-0061, "Modernization of Climatic Chambers, Phase I, U.S. Army Soldiers System Command, Natick, MA." The service is for the extension of proprietary operating computer program system to interface with new water atomization equipment being installed. It overcomes a deficiency in the original design of the humidification system under the existing contract with the firm Peabody Construction. The New York District intends to make the award on an other than full and open competitive basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source", with Ronco Energy Systems, Inc.
