Brown, PH: (202) 267-2506 The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) has a requirement for large size buoy chain and bridles, which will be used for mooring navigational buoys in the coastal and inland waters of the United States. The open-link chain is made from low-carbon steel and electrically welded. It is to be manufactured in accordance with USCG specification number 377H dated February 1998. The specification will be provided with the solicitation package. The sizes required are: 1"; 1-1/8"; 1-1/4"; 1-1/2"; 1-3/4"; and 1-7/8" diameter, all furnished in 90' lengths. The bridle sizes required are 7/8"X10'; 1"x12'; 1-1/4"x15'; 1-1/2"x18'; 1-1/2"x20'; and 1-1/2"x26'. Delivery will be FOB destination to various USCG locations.
