This solicitation is a standing solicitation for Federal Supply Schedule 78, PartI, Section A; from which the Government contemplates award of contracts for various commercial items listed in the Schedule of Items covering 25 Special Item Numbers. Resulting contracts will either be FOB Origin, 50 United States, Washington DC, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, or FOB Destination, for delivery outside the 50 United States, Washington DC, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Offers/Awards previously found under the International Federal Supply Schedule for FSC 7810, 7820, and 7830 class items will now be covered under Federal Supply Schedule 78 I A. There is no closing date for receipt of offers, therefor, offers may be submitted for consideration at any time during the life of this solicitation. This solicitation may be updated on a semi-annual basis, therefor, offerors should request an updated solicitation six months after this notice. All contracts under this Multiple Award Schedule include an Option to Extend the Term of the Contract for an additional five year period, unless canceled sooner. See Note 12 (Trade Agreements).
