J -- MAINTENANCE OF CONSOLIDATED AUTOMATIC SUPPORT SYSTEM (CASS) SOL N68335-98-Q-0129 DUE 031898 POC Mr. Carl Ruzicka, Code 2131, (732)323-2741 The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into negotiations on a non-competitive basis with Lockheed Martin Information Systems Corp. for maintenance service for government owned Consolidated Automatic Support System (CASS) testers. This procurement will be conducted using the prices, terms and conditions of the CASS Maintenance Service Pool (MSP) Basic Agreement, N68335-96-H-0057, with Lockheed Martin. The requirement is for maintenance service for two CASS testers located at Naval Air Station North Island, CA beginning 1 April 98 with a third station requiring maintenance beginning approximately 1 July 98. Options will include up to thirteen additional stations beginning next year. Period of performance may optionally extend through 2001. The government intends to procure these services under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. The government does not own data, drawings, software code or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal which may be used by the government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
