Herchak, Contracting Officer The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, requires maintenance of the security systems, all pneumatic and electrical thermostat controllers that operate the HVAC systems and exhaust fan systems, independent HVAC units, water heaters and air-compressors at the USDA, Appalachian Fruit Research Station in Kearneysville, West Virginia. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. Services required but not inclusive are inspection, testing, cleaning, analysis, calibrations, repairing of each system as stated in the specifications. The solicitation will include the following response times: 1) for emergency calls -- 2 hours after notification, and 2) non-emergency calls -- within 24 hours after notification. The period of performance will be from June 1, 1998 through May 31, 1999 (base period), with two (2) one-year options. Specifications are contained in Solicitation No. IFB 03-3615-98 and will be available on or about March 23, 1998. The SIC Code is 3822 and will be unrestricted.
