A -- RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT EFFORTS IN SUPPORT OF NASA AND TENANT AGENCIES AT SSC NASA intends to solicit and award a sole source contract with the Mississippi Research Consortium which consists of the University of Mississippi, Jackson State University, University of Southern Mississippi, and the Mississippi State University. The contract term will be five years and will provide academic presence for research and development efforts in support of NASA and tenant agencies at the SSC. The members of the consortium have intimate knowledge of the SSC programs, existing technology, and the environment within the NASA managed property at SSC and the consortium focal point is resident at SSC.
