(1) Rehabilitation of Bldg. #656 to include interior construction of walls, doors, plumbing, bathroom fixtures, new floor and wall finishes, electrical transformer, generator, power panel installation, electrical circuit installation, exterior wall panels, exterior screen walls, landscaping, irrigation systems, and concrete pads and sidewalks; (2) Repair Built-up roofs and metal standing seam roof and fascia work on eleven (11) buildings; (3) Repair HVAC Systems to include repair and replacement of air handling units and cooling systems, ductwork, controls, ceilings, lighting, fire protection and fire detection systems in four (4) buildings; (4) Rehabilitation/Upgrade Bldg #653 to include interior construction of walls, doors, new floor and wall finishes, electrical generator installation, electrical circuit installation, paint exterior, exterior screen walls, landscaping, irrigation systems, and concrete pads and sidewalks. The Invitation for Bid will include a base bid with four option items which the Government has 180 calendar days to exercise from date of award. The magnitude of proposed construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The Invitation for Bid will be issued approximately 27 March 1998. Bid opening time and date is 2:00 p.m., 29 April 1998. This solicitation is advertised as an unrestricted procurement. Plans and specifications are limited to prime contractors only. There is a charge of $150.00 for one (1) set of bid documents. Only cashier's checks or money orders will be accepted and shall be made payable to: USPFO for California, P.O.
