Accelerometer SOL N00421-98-Q-1070 DUE 040998 POC Jennifer Alvey, Contract Specialist, (301)757-9074 The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, intends to procure 50 accelerometers (AlliedSignal Part Number 979-1400-001) for the Pioneer Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) Program which currently supports the Navy and Marine Corps by providing logistic support to the fleet users. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis with AlliedSignal, Incorporated, 15001 North East 36th Street, Box 97001, Redmond, WA 98073. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1; only one responsible source and no other supplies or service will satisfy agency requirements. AlliedSignal is the only authorized supplier of these accelerometers and is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). This will be a firm fixed price contract.
