This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). NASA/KSC intends to purchase the items from L-3 Communications Corporation, Conic Division, 9020 Balboa Avenue, San Diego, CA 92123. The items required are for additional parts for the NASA X-34 program and must be identical in form and function to the existing NASA owned equipment. The originial vendor is the only source for the additional equipment. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 22.
