in the 60 KeV to 9 MeV range; active imaging area of ASXD; greater
than 7 in x 9 in; individual detector elements size; less than or equal
to 130 micrometers; analog to digital conversion: greater than or equal
to 12 bits; nonuniformity of active elements; less than or equal to +/-
12% before math corrections are applied; inactive or out of range array
elements; less than or equal to 0.1% of the total number of array
elements. Total no. of nonresponsive rows and columns: less than or
equal to 10: time to digitize and transferred data; less than or equal
to 5 Sec. cable length: at least 10 meters, x-ray to light conversion
system is required to be a replaceable item. Must interface to a host
PCI Bus pentium PC with MS Windows NT 4.0 operating system. System
will be used for nondestructive inspection of military ordnance.
Ordnance to be inspected includes gun ammunition fuzes, projectiles and
submunitions, gun ammunition propelling charges. Delivery to Weapons
Support Facility, Concord, CA, FOB Dest. All proposals are to be

is March 27, 1998. This is a Combined Synopsis/solicitation for
commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6
as supplemented with additional info included in this notice. This
requirement is set aside for small business concerns. The following FAR

the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to soln/RFQ will be most
