Hugh P. Blaney Program Manager, Rocky Mountain Arsenal intends to
contract on a sole source basis with Geo-Centers, Inc, Rockville, MD on
for the following services: The contractor shall provide all equipment,
personnel and material to perform a geophysical survey of specific
areas at Rocky Mountain Arsenal to detect and characterize buried
hazardous material to include chemical/biological materials and
ordnance. The contractor shall have demonstrated and proven
capabilities to perform geophysical surveys utilizing a towed array of
Cesium Vapor Mangnetometers. The tow vehicle shall have a low magnetic
signature and an off-road capability on slopes of up to 30 Degrees and
shall be capable of traversing rough, hilly and wet terrain that may
be experienced at RMA. The contractor will provide the capability to
present preliminary results of the collected geophysical data in the
form of maps consiting of site, quadrant, landmark, and missed area
maps. The contract shall provide the capability to provide pseudo color
target maps of detected anomalies at a scale that the demonstrates the
position of potential point sources within the anomaly. Coordinates
will be provided for specifically identified anomaly locations with an
estimate of depth below the surface. The contractor shall provide the
capability to clearly mark detected buried anomalies to facilitate
