The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with the Raytheon Systems Company for Contractor Operation and Maintenance of Simulators (COMS) and Contractor Maintenance of Simulators (CMS) support on multiple F/A-18 training devices located at: NAS Cecil Field, FL; NAS Miramar, CA; NAS Lemoore, CA; MCAS Beaufort, SC; MCAS El Toro, CA; and MCAS Iwakuni, Japan. The proposed contract is intended to provide all F/A-18 training devices COMS and CMS support that may be identified over the next four- (4) years. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded on or about 1 Aug l998 for basic Lot I (1 Oct 98 -- 30 Sep 99). Two (2) 12-month options, one (1) ten-month option and one (1) two-month transition option will be available for exercise by the Government.
