Effort involves ensuring that AWS design standards and combat system integration criteria are evaluated in the context of AWS/ACS production communities and dealt with consistently among all AWS/ACS equipment manufacturers. Specifically, work will involve the SPY-1D and CWI transmitters. Solicitation N00024-98-R-5103 will be issued to Raytheon Electronic Systems, 528 Boston Post Road, Sudbury, MA 01776, since this concern is the Original Equipment Manufacturer and existing sole source for many of the AWS components as well as the only source with the requisite design, development, production and integration expertise required to perform the subject services.
